Entering the Chinese market has spurred revenue growth of the mobile MMORPG MapleStory M, according to analysts at Sensor Tower. In its debut 35 days, the game earned $55 million in China.
China has already become the fifth largest revenue share country for MapleStory M. It accounted for 9.1% of the game's revenue for the entire time of its existence. Recall that the global release of MapleStory M took place in October 2016.
Together with China, the top 5 countries include South Korea (37.7%), the USA (13.6%), Taiwan (13.5%) and Japan (9.5%).
According to Sensor Tower, to date, the total revenue of MapleStory M in the App Store and Google Play is $600 million.
