Chinese Lilith Games, the developer of Rise of Kingdoms and AFK Arena, is showcasing remarkable generosity. In an interview with PocketGamer, Vincent Ou, the head of strategy and investments at Lilith Games, explained that the company operates an "Aladdin Plan," under which it regularly shares its profits with employees.

According to Ou, for each of its new games, Lilith Games establishes a separate subsidiary, and all key members of the project team receive a share in it. The total amount of their shares can reach up to 20%. After a game's release, Lilith Games annually distributes a portion of the title's profits to employees in addition to their salary, according to their share.

For example, in 2021 Lilith Games allocated $25 million to 90 developers of the game AFK Arena.

According to Ou, this program is Lilith Games' effort to increase employee loyalty and motivation, as well as to retain them within the company.
