Geography
- USA: the average salary is $101,392. According to 80 Level, newcomers to the industry can expect an annual salary of $79,799. Over time, their salary may increase significantly. 36% of the surveyed developers reported that they receive more than $150,000 annually.
- Great Britain: the average salary is $50,256. The majority of 80 Level respondents earn $40-60 thousand per year.
- Canada: the average salary is $50,785. All the surveyed developers earn more than $40 thousand. The annual salary of 40% of them is $100-150 thousand. 19% earn more than $150,000.
- Germany: the average salary is $56 thousand. The majority of respondents told 80 Level that they receive $30-$80 thousand.
- Spain: the average salary is $36 thousand. 38% of respondents earn $ 20-30 thousand, the salary of 22% of respondents is $40-50 thousand.
- India: the average salary is $9,328. 54% of respondents said that their annual salary is less than $10,000. Only 15% earn $10-20 thousand.
- Sweden: Level 80 did not name the average salary of Swedish developers, but noted that 28% of the surveyed specialists receive $ 50-60 thousand.

- 6.2% of the respondents have enough money for food, but it is difficult for them to afford to buy clothes.
- 17.4% of respondents can safely buy food and clothes, but it is difficult for them to afford the purchase of household appliances.
- 22% of the respondents have enough salary for food, clothes and household appliances, but not enough to buy a car.
- 24.4% of the respondents have enough salary for all of the above, but not for the purchase of an apartment.
