Artist Kenney Vleugels shared with the indie developer community that his recently released asset pack was added to a game just two hours after its release.

Toziuha Night: Order of the Alchemists

Last week, on November 6, he introduced a new free tileset with mini-maps on his website — consisting of 25 elements in total.

One of the developers almost instantly adapted it for his Metroidvania, Toziuha Night, as he shared on social media.

Vleugels commented on his post: "Two hours... two hours after the release of the new set — and it's already in a game!"

Enthusiasts joked that it's time to start speedrun competitions not based on playing through with the author's resources, but on how fast they can be integrated into projects.

Fans call Vleugels the "Asset Messiah" for his contribution to creating free graphic elements that assist thousands of budding developers around the world.

To date, he has created over 50,000 models and developed tools with ready-made blocks that simplify the process of creating and customizing graphics.
