Last Harbor
The success of Last Harbor was shared on social media by tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik. He emphasized that no other new IP in the company's portfolio gathered so many wishlists so quickly after its announcement.
tinyBuild announced Last Harbor during the annual Summer Game Fest presentation, which took place on the night of June 6th. Incidentally, the company also showcased a new trailer for SAND: Raiders of Sophie there, but the number of its wishlists is not disclosed.
Last Harbor is a multiplayer zombie survival game with elements of a fishing simulator. According to the plot, humanity has fallen under the assault of living dead, and the few survivors have taken to the sea, setting up refuges on ships. However, people periodically have to return to shore in search of resources and to fend off zombies.
According to Nichiporchik, Last Harbor is inspired by real events—with the exception of the zombie segment. As the top manager recalls, due to the lockdown amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he spent a significant part of 2020 living on a vessel. His experience ultimately formed the foundation of the game.
Last Harbor will be released on PC via Steam. Its release date is currently unknown.
