The Korean company KRAFTON also summarized the results of 2025.
PUBG: Black Budget
In its latest financial report, KRAFTON boasted that the past year was the best in its history in terms of revenue. Thanks to the enduring popularity of the PUBG franchise and the successful launch of games inZOI and MIMESIS, it managed to earn a record 3.3 trillion won — approximately 2.3 billion dollars at the current exchange rate. The revenue was 22.8% lower the previous year.
Here is the breakdown of KRAFTON's revenue by platform:
- mobile devices — 1.7 trillion won (1.2 billion dollars, +3%);
- PC — 1.2 trillion won (811 million dollars, +25.8%);
- consoles — 42.8 billion won (293 million dollars, -3.5%).
Nonetheless, KRAFTON admitted that its net profit dropped significantly. It decreased by 43.7% to 733.7 billion won (502.7 million dollars). According to the company, the decline is partly due to investments in the development of PUBG and funding various developers.
KRAFTON also revealed that its studios are currently working on 15 new games. Among them are Subnautica 2 from Unknown Worlds, Palworld Mobile from PUBG STUDIOS, and NO LAW from Neon Giant.
