Another Japanese gaming company has started paying employees more. This time Konami announced the salary increase.
Konami announced that in March 2023, it raised the base monthly salary by an average of ¥50 thousand ($374). As a result, the base annual salary of its employees increased by ¥600 thousand, which is about $ 4.48 thousand.
Konami has become at least the fourth gaming company in Japan whose employees started earning more this year. Earlier, salaries were raised by Nintendo, SEGA and Square Enix.
