Warhorse Studios shared new sales figures for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Since its release in 2018, the game has sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

The last two million copies were sold from February to October.

With SteamDB data, two spikes in player activity can be seen. The first was driven by the announcement of a sequel (along with an 80% discount) — during that time, the number of concurrent players exceeded 21,000. The second surge occurred at the end of August, again thanks to a record 90% discount and a free weekend.

Thus, it can be speculated that sales on Steam could have played a significant role in achieving the current figures.
