Three former Supercell leads, previously responsible for the development of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, have launched their own gaming startup. It’s called Bit Odd.
Which veterans are we talking about?
Lasse Louhento – former game lead and art director of Clash of Clans;
▫️Yani Lintunen – former developer and artist of Clash projects;
▫️Taneli Oxama is a leading artist of Clash projects.
They all worked together at Supercell for six years. Now — also together, but already within the walls of Bit Odd — they are developing “an exciting multiplayer game imbued with the aesthetics and mood of the 80s.”
The studio has already attracted the first capital. As part of the seed round, which was led by Index Ventures, Bit Odd “raised” $5.3 million for the development of the debut project.
