Russian developers will soon be able to claim a new benefit. The authorities of the Kaliningrad region are going to reimburse them part of the money spent on the creation of games. Andrey Tolmachev, General Director of the Kaliningrad Region Development Corporation, told about this during his speech at the SPIEF.
The estimated amount of compensation is 20%. It may be more, depending on the number of potential users of the game.
However, not everyone will be able to get a benefit. According to Tolmachev, it will be aimed only at those developers whose projects have locations related to the region. Ideally, these should not be popular, but little-known places in the Kaliningrad region.
