Ken Akamatsu is a Japanese manga artist who recently won a seat in the House of Councillors of Japan. He held a stream on YouTube, during which he promised to try to legally preserve the gaming legacy for posterity.

Akamatsu has already formed a group of experts who will deal with the problem together with him. The official did not tell what specific steps they are going to take.

Automaton portal suggested that Akamatsu could create a game archive at the National Parliamentary Library. In addition to rare books, it stores, for example, vinyl records and CDs with music.
