The winners of the national content competition held by the Institute for Internet Development (IID) have been announced. This year, the list includes 152 projects, nine of which are games.

Below are the titles of the winning games in the competition.

▫️“War of the Worlds: Siberia” – an adventure action game developed by the studio “MGLA,” inspired by the iconic novel by Herbert Wells. In this game, Earth is also invaded by Martians, but the setting is an alternative Russia at the end of the 19th century instead of Great Britain;

▫️“Zemsky Sobor: The Decisive Choice” – a new project from the authors of “Smutnoye Vremya.” It is dedicated to the adventures of the Cossack Kirsha before the election of Michael Romanov to the throne;

▫️“Assault: Prologue” – a cooperative PvE shooter with a first-person view where players fight terrorists in various parts of Russia;

▫️“Call Sign: ROS” – an astronaut simulator set aboard a developing orbital station;

▫️“Banner of Victory” – a real-time strategy game about World War II;

▫️“PinCode: Technologies of the Future” – an educational mobile game based on the animated series “Smeshariki. Pin-Code”;

▫️“Racing Academy” – a mobile racing simulator where players first learn the basic principles of racing, after which they can join competitions;

▫️“Games for the Elderly” – a set of casual mini-games that help seniors maintain cognitive functions;

▫️“Hive Defense: The Last Hive” – a browser-based strategy game with tower defense and autobattler elements set in the sci-fi universe “Berloga.”

According to the competition rules, all games must be released by November 17, 2028. It is unclear how much money the developers received as a reward from the IID. The organization only stated that the total support for all 152 projects that won in the national content competition (including games, series, online shows, and more) will amount to 21.8 billion rubles from 2026 to 2028.
