KB Production Studio, based in Moscow, received financial support from the Internet Development Institute (IRI). According to Kommersant, the organization provided developers with 100 million rubles for mobile games for children based on the animated series Soyuzmultfilm.

KB Production and IRI confirmed to the newspaper the fact of the grant allocation, but did not name the amount.

The head of KB Production, Vitaly Kozlov, in a comment to Kommersant, said that IRI invested money in the studio back in the spring. Judging by his words, the allocated funds are intended not only for projects on Soyuzmultfilm animated series. IRI gave money to create ten games, and for the KB Production studio makes seven.

“These will be non-commercial games, without advertising. For us, this is an opportunity to retain the development team, to keep the studio,” Kozlov said.

This is not the first time KB Production has been working on games based on children’s animated series. She has games on “Masha and the Bear”, “Fixies” and “Squirrel and Arrow” on her account.
