The authors of Call of Duty are expanding their presence in Europe. Infinity Ward Studio has announced that it has a team in Barcelona.
The new Infinity Ward office opened in the same building as the headquarters of another subsidiary studio of Activision Blizzard – Digital Legends, dealing with Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
According to Infinity Ward, the Spanish team will be led by two Infinity Ward veterans: technical and art director Riccard Linde and Production Director Peter McCabe.
This is Infinity Ward’s second European office. The first studio was launched in 2017 in Krakow, Poland. According to rumors, now the Polish Infinity Ward is recruiting employees to work on an unannounced open-world RPG. The corresponding vacancies were discovered by Reddit users in mid-June, but soon Infinity Ward removed the ads.
