The Marvel Heroes CCG celebrated its second birthday, closely approaching the $200 million revenue mark.
Marvel Snap
To be more precise, as of its birthday on October 18, the project had earned $193 million through the App Store and Google Play.
This is the estimate from the analytics service AppMagic, which, let's remember, provides figures after subtracting the mobile stores' shares and taxes.
This implies that user spending on the game might have exceeded a significant $300 million mark (considering a store share of 30% and taxes).
Currently, the game's net revenue ranges from $100,000 to $300,000 a day. At its peak—in the first months of operation—it reached $900,000 a day.
These figures might actually be higher. In addition to the mobile version, the game includes:
- a desktop version with its own client and the ability for direct balance replenishment;
- a popular Steam version, with an online player base of about 10,000.
Marvel Snap is developed by the American studio Second Dinner, founded by Ben Brode, the game director and one of the two lead game designers of Hearthstone.
