Last night, Deep Silver publishing house announced that in its very first weekend, the zombie extermination shooter Dead Island 2 reached the mark of one million copies sold. And this is without a release on Steam!

There is no information about the collected box office yet, but considering that the game is priced at $ 60-70 (cheaper on PC), then most likely its sales by now amount to more than $ 60 million.

Dead Island 2 is a game with a difficult fate. It was announced back in 2014. Initially, it was handled by the studio Yager (Spec Ops: The Line), then Sumo Digital (Crackdown 3), as a result, it was brought to mind by Dambuster (the internal studio of Deep Silver itself).
