This is the conclusion that InvestGame came to. The company studied the situation with investments, public offerings and M&A agreements for January-June 2022.
In just six months, 455 deals were closed in the industry.
▪️M&A accounted for 126 transactions and $31.1 billion.
▪️For investments — 316 transactions and $7.8 billion.
▪️For public offerings — 13 deals and $4.3 billion.
Some of the biggest deals were between Take-Two and Zynga ($12.7 billion) and between Embracer Group and Asmodee ($3.1 billion).
