The Regional Public Center for Internet Technologies (ROCIT) has asked the FAS to initiate a case against Twitch. In his opinion, the platform violated the antimonopoly legislation of the Russian Federation when it stopped making payments to Russian streamers.
Also, ROCIT does not like that Twitch can “arbitrarily block any user” and prohibits streamers from broadcasting simultaneously on several sites. All this, according to ROCIT, limits the competitiveness of streamers and prevents them from smoothly switching to other platforms.
