Velan Studios has announced the imminent closure of the multiplayer action game Knockout City. On February 28, the ability to make in-game purchases will be removed from it, and on June 6, public servers will stop working.
The developers admitted that it was hard for their small team to support the project. But over the years, Velan Studios has learned a lot about game services and now plans to apply this knowledge in the next games – the studio has already started developing several new products at once.
However, apparently, users will be able to play Knockout City after June 6. In the coming months, Velan Studios is going to add free private servers to the game. They will be available on a Windows PC.
Knockout City was released on May 21, 2021 on PC, as well as PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles.
