Gamers began to play more mobile games developed by Russian companies. YOTA calculated that in June, the traffic of titles doubled compared to last year. The growth was also reported by Beeline and Tele2.
According to YOTA, in June, its users were particularly active in playing Playrix games. Homescapes, Fishdom, Township and Manor Matters accounted for 92% of the total traffic for the month. Another 7.67% went to Pixonic‘s War Robots.
Beeline indicated that from April to the beginning of July, Manor Matters traffic increased by 51.3%, Township traffic — by 43%, and Homescapes traffic — by 13.88%.
Tele2 did not provide statistics on individual games. The mobile operator noted that the traffic of gaming platforms in general, taking into account foreign ones, has increased by 40% since February. The number of users in them has increased by 10%.
Update: A representative of Playrix clarified that it is incorrect to call their games Russian, since Playrix is an Irish company. Note that Pixonic is also registered not in Russia (but in Cyprus).
