Russian gamers have become more likely to buy retro consoles. According to Ozon estimates, such devices sold 58% better this June than a year ago. The most popular consoles were Dendy, Sega, Game Boy, Magistr and Game Box.
Sales of modern consoles on Ozon also increased — by 80% compared to June 2021.
Interest in the retro console was also noticed in “M.Video – Eldorado”. As indicated by the retailer, in April-June sales rose by 13% year-on-year.
