The consulting company Nordicity, commissioned by King — the creators of the hit puzzle game Candy Crush — conducted a study. It examined the situation in the European mobile gaming industry as of the end of 2025. We've gathered the key figures from the report.

- According to Nordicity, European-based mobile gaming companies earned a total of €7.53 billion worldwide last year.
- From this amount, they contributed about €5.89 billion to Europe's GDP.
- It is expected that by 2028, the global revenue of European companies will grow to €8 billion, and their contribution to Europe's GDP will increase to €6.17 billion.
- The developers and publishers of mobile games from Finland received the most money in 2025, totaling €1.4 billion.
- Additionally, revenue from companies in the UK amounted to €895 million, from Ireland €868 million, from Spain €722 million, and from Sweden €630 million. Nordicity did not disclose data for other countries.
- European publishers spend 41% of their annual revenue on acquiring new users for their games.
- By the end of 2025, over 63,300 specialists worked full-time on mobile games in Europe.
- 97% of European mobile gamers play free-to-play projects, accounting for over 320 million people.
