Russian gaming companies have become more active in hiring, writes the newspaper "Kommersant" citing data from HeadHunter. From January to July 2024, they published 5.5 thousand job vacancies on the platform—23% more than in the first seven months of 2023.

The demand for support specialists has increased the most in Russian game development. The number of job vacancies for them grew by 81% to 270 positions.
It is also noted that compared to last year, the average salary for game developers has risen by 46%. It is now 275 thousand rubles.
