Hurun Research Institute has compiled the top richest residents of China for January-August 2023. The organization noticed that of the five people who showed the greatest increase in wealth, three are associated with the gaming industry.
Pony Ma, the CEO of Tencent, became the richest of the top managers of gaming companies. His fortune increased by $7.9 billion to $38.6 billion.
Next in terms of wealth growth is the former chairman of miHoYo Cai Haoyu, who now directs research at the company. His fortune is estimated at $9.2 billion — $6.3 billion more than last year.
The third was NetEase CEO William Ding Lei, whose fortune increased by $5.2 billion to $33.1 billion.
In the top of the richest residents of China, Ma took second place, Ding Lei — sixth, and Haoyu - 55.

The current chairman of the company Liu Wei (Liu Wei) is the 126th place with a fortune of $ 5.1 billion;
