The money will be used to develop and support the “World of Tanks”, “World of Ships” and Tanks Blitz, launch new games, upgrade infrastructure and hire an additional 400-450 employees.
Alexander Ilyichev, the product director of the World of Ships, told about the studio’s plans in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper.
Ilyichev recalled that before the departure of Wargaming from Russia and Belarus, Lesta Games was engaged in only one game — “The World of Ships”. However, now it should become a large studio that can work on several projects.
Ilyichev also said that Lesta Games is negotiating a joint development of games with Yandex, Rostelecom and a number of other Russian companies.
