2K warned gamers that unknown attackers had gained access to the publisher’s tech support platform and started sending emails with phishing links.
The company advised not to open fresh emails from 2K and not to follow the links. For those who did, she recommended resetting passwords saved in the browser, checking account settings, enabling two-factor authentication and using an antivirus.
