The developers of Forge of Empires and Elvenar decided to increase transparency in the company. InnoGames has published a list with annual salaries (before taxes) for 80% of positions. However, it is relevant only for Germany — in other countries, InnoGames employees can receive a different salary.
A few facts from the list:
among the novice specialists (junior), programmers earn the most — their salary ranges from € 48 thousand to €58 thousand. System administrators also receive only a little less — €45-57.5 thousand;
formally, novice testers have the lowest salary — from € 20 thousand, but it can reach up to €45 thousand;
A novice game designer receives around €34-42 thousand. Senior-level game designers – already €58-85 thousand;
artists earn €32-38 thousand at the start of their career, and when they become Senior-level team leaders – from € 80 thousand.
