The investment group GEM Capital has announced new deals. This time, they supported three Cyprus-based studios: Weappy, VEA Games, and Game Garden.
Hollywood Animal
The total investment amount is $5 million. GEM Capital did not specify how the money was distributed among each studio.
- Founded in 2015, the studio Weappy is known for the This Is the Police series. They will use the funds from GEM Capital to develop and publish the Hollywood simulator Hollywood Animal.
- VEA Games, established in 2017, primarily focuses on tools for Unreal Engine. Currently, they are working on an unannounced platformer for PC and consoles.
- Game Garden, a mobile game studio operating since 2009, recently soft-launched the merge game Florescence. The GEM Capital investment will be used to prepare for the global release of this project.
