Valorant

  • According to the report, Tencent earned 751.8 billion yuan, or approximately 109.4 billion dollars, in 2025. This is a 14% increase from 2024.
  • The company’s net profit grew by 18%, reaching 267 billion yuan (38.85 billion dollars).
  • The share of games in Tencent's revenue this time was 32%. A year ago, the number was only slightly lower at 30%.
  • Tencent separately tracks gaming revenue in China and international markets. According to their estimates, in 2025, Chinese game sales increased by 18% to 164.2 billion yuan (23.9 billion dollars), while international game sales jumped by 33% to 77.4 billion yuan (11.26 billion dollars).
  • As Tencent reported, in China, a significant portion of the revenue traditionally came from Honor of Kings and Peacekeeper Elite — the regional version of PUBG. Additionally, Valorant and Delta Force performed well. Tencent also noted that after the reporting period ended, in February 2026, the daily active audience of Delta Force reached new record levels — 50 million people.
  • The main drivers of gaming revenue growth in international markets were titles developed by Supercell, as well as PUBG Mobile and Wuthering Waves.
  • Currently, Tencent is heavily investing in the development of artificial intelligence technologies. The company uses them for various business tasks, including in their work with games. However, they believe that AI is not yet capable of creating "innovative games with a focus on gameplay."
