The British studio Six to Start has cut half of the developers, Axios reports, citing its CEO and co-founder Adrian Hon. Layoffs affected both full-time and freelance employees.

In particular, the technical director Jen Tan and the head of the production department Matt Wieteska were cut.

Hong also leaves the studio. He will remain as CEO until the beginning of 2024, and then take a "long break" from game development.

Six to Start, which opened in 2006, is known primarily for the mobile fitness games Zombies, Run!, The Walk and Marvel Move. Six to Start is a small studio. According to LinkedIn, it employs 26 people.
