The Swedish Fragbite Group has announced the purchase of the Fall Damage studio. The size of the transaction was 20 million Swedish kronor ($1.8 million).

Fall Damage was opened in 2017 by four former DICE employees who at one time worked on Star Wars: Battlefront, Battlefield 4 and other games of the company. Among the founders of Fall Damage was DICE co-founder Markus Nyström.

So far, Fall Damage has released only one game — a turn-based strategy game with action elements called Batalj. Since 2019, she has been working on a free-to-play competitive shooter Alara Prime. According to a Fragbite Group press release, the studio has already invested 180 million Swedish kronor ($16.4 million) in its development.
