Focus Entertainment has published a preliminary report for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2023. The company has earned more than ever before.
The French publisher’s revenue increased by 36.2% to a record €194.1 million. Of this amount, 86% brought sales of digital versions of games.
▪️Sales of new games amounted to €126.4 million. An increase of 73.7%. At the same time, sales of games from the back catalog decreased by 6.6% to €65.2 million.
Focus Entertainment noted the success of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West and Atomic Heart. The company did not disclose the performance of titles, but noted that Atomic Heart sales exceeded its expectations.
According to the company, good sales of new games also led to an increase in gross profit. But it is not reported how much the profit was.
