As part of the financial report, Focus Entertainment announced the takeover of the British studio Dovetail Games, specializing in simulators. It is not known how much the purchase cost.

Under the terms of the deal, the management of Dovetail Games will continue to manage the studio, but all intellectual property will be transferred to Focus Entertainment.

Focus Entertainment stated that Dovetail Games’ business model fits perfectly into its development strategy. In addition, the company expects that the studio will bring a good income. According to preliminary estimates, the revenue of Dovetail Games for the year ended March 31, 2023, should exceed £15 million or €17 million.

Dovetail Games was opened in 2008 by Paul Jackson, former vice president of Electronic Arts. At first, the studio worked under the name RailSimulator and made only train simulators, but in 2014 it changed its name and expanded its portfolio to fishing simulators and flight simulators.
