The management of the German studio Flying Sheep Studios, which develops HTML5 games, announced the imminent closure of the studio. It will officially cease operations at the end of the month.
The reason for this decision has not been disclosed.
Issues at Flying Sheep Studios became known in the fall of last year. Back then, the studio announced the start of an optimization program, under which it intended to lay off an unspecified number of employees.
Flying Sheep Studios opened in 2014 in Cologne. Since its inception, the studio has released 221 games, many of which were created under licenses from well-known brands. Among its works are games such as Ninjago Master Chen’s Labyrinth, Deine Barbie Traumfee, Tom & Jerry Mouseflitzer, Blaster Rush, Knights of Fortune, and Mewtrix. As of mid-July 2024, Flying Sheep Studios employs 83 people.
