Saber Interactive CEO Matthew Karch mentioned the success of the game during a conversation with investors. According to him, Evil Dead: The Game performed better at the start than World War Z did at the time and received higher ratings on Metacritic than Dead by Daylight.
Karch also stated that Evil Dead: The Game was “the first game in the new franchise.”
Recall that the project based on the movie “The Sinister Dead” was released on May 13 on PC (in the Epic Games Store), PlayStation and Xbox. A version for the Nintendo Switch should be released later.
