Epic Games is preparing to launch the Epic Games Store on mobile devices in EU countries. In anticipation of this, the company has announced a change in its mobile strategy.

Specifically, the company will no longer partner with mobile app stores that "act as commission collectors, stifle competition, and do not treat all developers fairly." Epic Games will end partnerships even if these platforms offer it special beneficial conditions. For example, it has already decided to remove Fortnite and its other games from the Samsung Galaxy Store.
At the same time, Epic Games will expand its list of partners to include mobile app stores that the company believes operate more fairly. Epic Games announced the launch of its games on AltStore for iOS in EU countries. It will later name at least two more new partners.
