On March 22, Epic Games released a beta version of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), an application with which gamers can make games inside the Battle royale. The company also announced that it will share Fortnite revenue with the authors of such content.

Epic Games announced that it will set aside 40% of revenue from sales in the Fortnite store and a number of other in-game purchases for real money on a monthly basis. She will distribute the received amount among all the creators of the islands in Fortnite (by the way, some of the money will go to Epic Games itself). The amount of payments will depend on the popularity of the islands and the level of audience retention.

At first, only adult users will be able to receive payments, but in the future Epic Games is going to share revenue with gamers under the age of 18.
