In September 2022, three people from Epic Games opened their own studio called Noodle Cat Games. Now they have received the first investment, which will go to hiring employees and developing the debut game.

Makers Fund, 1Up Ventures and Epyllion invested $4.1 million in Noodle Cat Games.

Nothing is known about the studio’s debut project yet.

Noodle Cat Games was founded by the former head of the publishing department of Epic Games, Ed Zobrist, former chief programmer Michael Noland and former lead system designer David Hunt. They were joined in the team by former employees of Electronic Arts, BioWare and PopCap Games.
