The launch of the Epic Games Store on iOS devices in EU countries is facing difficulties. Epic Games claims that Apple has already twice denied its release of a proprietary mobile app store due to button designs.

According to Epic Games, the corporation felt that the "Install" and "In-App Purchases" buttons in the Epic Games Store were too similar to the buttons in the App Store.
“Apple's refusal is unjustified and violates the DMA [Digital Market Act]. We have shared our concerns with the European Commission,” wrote Epic Games on social media.
Epic Games added that it is still ready to launch the Epic Games Store along with Fortnite on iOS in Europe within the next couple of months. It just needs Apple to approve the application.
