A group of employees of the American company Bandcamp, which owns the music platform of the same name, opposed CEO Ethan Diamond, as well as Epic Games. Activists claim that they interfere with organizing a trade union.

Bandcamp employees decided to form a trade union in mid-March, but neither the management of the company itself nor the management of Epic Games voluntarily recognized the association. Instead, they hired the law firm Foley & Lardner, which helps organizations fight unions.

Epic Games has not commented on the accusation. Diamond said he was ready to discuss the creation of a trade union, but first the company must hold a general vote.

Bandcamp joined Epic Games in March last year. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
