In the comments to the dev portal.by CEO Kirill Maksimov said that Eon Games is unable to get a new round of funding from investors. He promised that after the mobile studio raises money, the salary debts will be repaid.
According to Maksimov, most of the employees reacted to the situation with understanding: “We have a fantastic team, ready to continue investing efforts for the sake of faith in the product. Not infinitely, of course. We hope to close the issues in the near future and continue working.”
Currently, about 100 people work at Eon Games. Some of them are located in Belarus, and some in other countries, including Georgia, Poland and Cyprus.
