All of last year, the Swedish holding Embracer Group was actively cutting costs by reducing staff and closing projects, but now it has decided to secure a new loan. The company announced that it has arranged a revolving credit facility of €600 million for two years.

As Embracer Group explained, this line will replace the previous loan of €420 million. The company considered the terms offered to be more favorable.
Embracer Group CEO Lars Wingefors added that the company had significantly strengthened its financial structure and reduced its debt burden. The decision to take out a new loan on different terms is another step towards creating a leaner and more focused business.
