The Swedish holding paid a total of $576.3 million for them. The terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The Embracer Group will include:
Middle-earth Enterprises is a former division of The Saul Zaentz Company. He owns the rights to certain elements of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit (book titles, character names, etc.);
Tripwire Interactive is a publisher and developer whose portfolio includes games such as Chivalry 2, Maneater and Killing Floor;
▫️Tuxedo Labs is a developer who released a Teardown voxel destruction simulator in April;
▫️Limited Run Games – publisher of physical versions of games and owner of Carbon Engine;
▫️Singtrix is a company known for the karaoke machine of the same name.
Embracer Group has also agreed to purchase a certain developer of console and PC games, but is not ready to talk about the deal yet.
