Swedish gaming holding Enad Global 7 (EG7) announced the imminent closure of its subsidiary studio Antimatter Games. It will stop working in the summer of 2023.

EG7 noted that they were considering other options for the studio. For example, its sale or conversion into an outsourcing team. But none of them could be effectively implemented in the required time.

According to EG7 management, the closure of Antimatter Games will help increase the profitability of the holding. As a result, EG7’s annual operating expenses are expected to decrease by $4.64 million.

Antimatter Games opened in 2013. She participated in the development of the shooter Rising Storm 2: Vietnam and in recent years worked on I.G.I. Origins. Judging by the LinkedIn account, 52 people work in the studio.
