Developers from Electronic Arts (EA) are dissatisfied with the silence of the management during “Pride Month” — the period when it is customary to most actively support the LGBTQ+ community. They threatened to strike if the company simply “hypocritically” repainted the logo in rainbow colors and did nothing meaningful.

The threat did not go unnoticed. Soon EA announced that it would not change the logo. After that, the employees changed their minds about going on strike.

Last week, the media reported that EA is not going to make public statements about the rights of transgender people or about a possible ban on abortion in some US states, because it “respects all points of view.”
