Blizzard shared details about the release of Diablo Immortal in the Asia-Pacific region. China, with the exception of certain regions, was not on the list of countries.

The final list includes Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Also on July 7, the game will be released in Hong Kong and Macau. However, Blizzard still does not announce the release of Diablo Immortal in mainland China.

Recall that in June NetEase postponed the release of the project in the country indefinitely. This led to a drop in the shares of the Chinese giant. One of the possible reasons for the transfer is criticism of Chinese President Xi Jinping in the official Diablo Immortal account on Weibo.

As a result, there was talk about the possible cancellation of the release of the game in China. However, NetEase itself has previously said that it just needs more time to work on optimization.
