Gunzilla Games is a game development company that created the battle royale game Off the Grid with the collaboration of renowned film director Neill Blomkamp. Recently, several of its employees have reported that they have not been paid their salaries.

The situation was highlighted by the Insider Gaming portal, which noticed complaints from Gunzilla Games employees on LinkedIn. According to developers, salary payments are delayed for different durations: some have not been able to receive their salaries since January, while others have been waiting since last September.
Gunzilla Games employees write that attempts to directly contact the company's management have led nowhere. Often, top managers either ignore the situation or promise to resolve the salary issue soon, but without success. Meanwhile, people are allegedly expected to continue fulfilling their duties.
Insider Gaming speculated that Gunzilla Games might currently be in a troublesome financial situation. Last year, the company conducted layoffs at least twice, and Off the Grid, which was released in July 2025, failed to attract a significant number of players.
Gunzilla Games has not publicly commented on the situation.
