Gaming expert Simon Carless noticed that last week Tumblr summed up the results of 2022. Among other things, the service named the most popular games among its users.
The top five games available on consoles included Deltarune, Genshin Impact, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Undetale and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Stray and Disco Elysium were also among the best — they got 13th and 14th places.
The leaders among mobile games are Obey Me! Shall We Date?, Twisted Wonderland and Cookie Run.
As Carless pointed out, the games on the Tumblr list are very different from the most popular titles on YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. Tumblr users are more interested in games that can be used to make a variety of fan art, so they choose projects with catchy visual.
