The studio Singularity 6, which developed the life simulator Palia, has joined Daybreak Game Company, which itself is a subsidiary of the Swedish holding company EG7. The terms and amount of the deal have not been disclosed.

Anthony Leung, CEO and co-founder of Singularity 6, will continue to lead the studio. He announced that the creative direction of Singularity 6 will remain unchanged. However, the studio will now be able to leverage the resources, support, and expertise of Daybreak Game Company to further develop Palia.
Singularity 6 was founded in 2018 by veterans of Riot Games. Recently, the studio faced financial difficulties, resulting in a significant reduction in staff.
Palia is Singularity 6's debut game. According to the studio, the number of daily active players in the project now exceeds 100,000, and a total of 4 million people have played Palia.
