The creators of the marine adventure game Dave the Diver are celebrating the first anniversary of the official release. In a birthday video, game director Jaeho Hwang announced that project sales should have surpassed 4 million copies by now.

Hwang admitted that he is not entirely sure about this number because he does not know the number of physical copies of Dave the Diver sold. In any case, the game is very popular.
The last time the developers of Dave the Diver disclosed game sales was in January 2024, when sales stood at 3 million copies. At that time, Dave the Diver was only available on PC and Nintendo Switch, but in April, the title also reached PlayStation consoles.
